Bishop Jakes' book is simply amazing! Women everywhere have been urged to buy it by me. God has truly used this book to speak truth to women of all ages, including me! I make an effort to read this book at least once a year.
Because we are sometimes unsure of who we are, women will accept anything or anyone into our life. We'll put up with being treated in a way that displeases God by others. We are unaware of our actual value or worth. We do not ask the Father for direction as often as we ought to because we are not walking intimately with him. There are moments when we will take the lies the enemy tells us to be true. Since we have never known true love on Earth, we will welcome into our lives any fraction of what seems to be love.
