After reading the first few pages, I was hooked! This Christian fiction story had all the elements necessary to hold your interest; attractive, compelling characters, drama, love, friendship, betrayal, tears and a great ending. I didn't want to put the book down because I wanted to know what would happen next. Looking forward to next book in the series to get a peek into the lives of the characters today.

I was beyond thankful for the One-on-One Workshop for Single Woman with Terri Smalls. It was definitely divine intervention. She is an amazing woman of God and prayer warrior. This book was such a great read! I enjoyed reading about how the main character remained faithful to God and her husband without fail. I'd definitely recommend it to others! If you enjoy great Christian fiction, this is the book for you!

About Terri
Terri is a Christian Writer, Author, Mentor and Workshop Facilitator. She is currently working on a sequel to Prostrate Before Him. She has worked in Ministry full time for over 10 years. She has also had her own women's ministry for over 15 years. Terri is the mother of a 26-year-old daughter. She is a Mental Health Therapist who is extremely passionate about empowering people in Mental Health. They are Native New Yorkers, who relocated to North Carolina about 12 years ago.
Terri is very passionate about encouraging women. God has guided Terri through many of her own storms. Some previous trials in her life have included unemployment, divorce after 20 years of marriage, emergency surgeries, her doctor informing her of a diagnosis that made him sure she did not have much more time to live with or without surgery. This Specialist doctor informed her of this through eyes filled with tears. It was a time she did not think she would live through - ALL taking place around the same time. All taking place weeks of agreeing to a divorce. All taking place while living in an area where she had no biological family.
The two scriptures God clearly spoke to Terri during this very rough and long season were: And the Lord said, Terri , Terri , behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may shift you as wheat: But I have prayed for you Terri, that thy faith fail not; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22:32.
Where did I draw strength from most during those times? My one on one devotion time with the Lord. My prayer time. Staying in His Word. My daughter. Counseling sessions with my Pastor. Sunday services. Teachings of my television Pastors. The saints of God that the Lord has blessed me to have a friendship with before the storms came. Powerful Praying Women Ministry. I would have never wanted to endure these storms, but today I know that they were necessary for my growth in Him. Today, I continue to go forth in my assignment by God to go back and strengthen my sisters with what I have learned.
What is the scripture that most defines who God has called you to be? If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Romans 12:8
What do I say after all that I have been allowed to endure, BUT GOD!!!!! John 11:40 Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" As an Ambassador of Jesus Christ
(2 Corinthians 5:18-20) life is still not always easy, but my trust continues to be in God. Today, I know the power and authority I have as a child of God! It is not something that I always knew or understood.
Here is a great description of Christianity. I copied this excerpt out of Stormie Omartian's (great woman of God) book titled - Praying God's Will for Your Life:
Christianity is a living relationship with God through Jesus, His son. Salvation is not just something Jesus did for us; it is Jesus living in us. You may have been born into a Christian family or attended a Christian church all of your life, but if you haven't told God that you want to receive Jesus, you haven't been born into the kingdom of God. You can't inherit it, get it by osmosis, transplant it, implant it -or wish upon a star for it. You have to declare your faith before the Lord. Scriptures referenced - 1 John 4:14-15, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9 and John 3:3 Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Just like God has used people to encourage me during my storms and times of feeling worthless, and lonely. Today, I walk in obedience encouraging my sisters that they have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God!! Most of ALL encouraging them not to give up. This is a video from my early years in ministry closing out at an event that I was asked to speak.
